“ Super cool atmosphere, good food, great location, and great service. Had a BLT and ceasar salad and was very happy. Our waiter was very kind and the whole place had a very cool atmosphere and was very clean. The only thing was something was accidentally added to our bill that we did not order, but I called back and they were very kind and fixed the problem. Could not ask for better service. Will be back and highly recommend! ”

“ They have outdoor seating, which is nice. It’s not in the sun (midday), but could be windy. View some ships. Although our visit was short, the hospitality of the manager and hostess was evident. They were very kind and welcoming, which was much appreciated by our group. I would definitely return here. Looking forward to them fixing their espresso machine, too! ”

“ At the Navy Yard for a meeting. We decided to grab a quick bite before heading back to the office. The Gatehouse is right at the entrance/exit of the Navy Yard. We got there around 11:30 and had no problem finding parking. We were seated right away in the patio area. Our server came right over and got us started on drinks. After a few minutes he took our order and within just a few minutes the appetizer came out. If you like Brussel sprouts, you'll like theirs! The entrees came out about 10 minutes after that. I had the chicken and waffles , delicious. The pace of the food was very good and the food itself was really good and the price very reasonable. Nice vibe hanging out by the Navy vessels. ”

“ Located in a great spot, we went for dinner on a Thursday night and it was not busy at all. Nice outdoor seating area too. The food was surprisingly good and the service was great. Definitely recommend the cookie skillet and mini cannolis desserts. ”

My wife got the Black and Blue burger and it was also cooked and seasoned just right. It was both of our first visit to Gatehouse, but I'm already looking forward to going back. ”

“ Delightfully surprised! Only one vegan option besides salad (avocado/beet compote) but it was amazing! Kids liked their burgers and my friend loved the tuna nachos. They change their menu often and the ambiance inside was great! (They have outdoor seating too) Wait staff was great! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back! ”
